Portugal - Day 12

September 19, 2025: We had a more laid back day today to rest up before the weekend. We have been going non-stop and just needed a day to catch our breath. At around 11:30am, we headed toward Pink Street. Pink Street in Lisbon is one of the city’s most vibrant nightlife spots, famous for its bold pink-painted pavement that instantly sets the mood for fun. During the day, it’s a quirky photo stop, which is exactly what we did…stopped to take photos. Then we grabbed lunch nearby at a place called Collect for what they call a Lazy Brunch. Then we headed back to our apartment for awhile before getting ready for dinner. On our way to dinner, we stopped for an apertif at Delirious, a restaurant/bar with small little window seats overlooking the street where we are staying. It was fun to people watch in such a lively area. Then it was on to Frade dos Mares for our dinner reservation. This place had been recommended by our Airbnb host and it did not disappoint. It was a long walk, but SO worth it. Jimm had the Octopus “á Lagareiro” and I had the Prawn Risotto. Both were so outstanding. One of the best meals we have had in Portugal so far. The restaurant was quaint and the staff was very good. It was a wonderful experience. Short blog post, but much more to come this weekend as we head to Cascais and attend the Chefs on Fire event!
